In most modern architectures, no. The 'Redux era' of placing every piece of data in a massive global store is largely over. Today, we utilize TanStack Query (React Query) to manage data fetched from APIs, and extremely lightweight atomic libraries like Zustand or Jotai to manage local UI state (like dark mode or open modals). This drastically reduces boilerplate code and improves performance.
Introduced in React 18, Concurrent rendering allows React to pause, resume, or abandon rendering tasks in the background. If a user is typing in a search box, and a massive data chart is simultaneously trying to render, we can use `useTransition` to tell React that the typing is high-priority and the chart is low-priority. This prevents the browser from freezing and keeps the UI silky smooth.
Slow React apps are almost always caused by 'useless re-renders' (e.g., typing in a text input causes the entire page to redraw). We fix this by utilizing the React Profiler to identify bottlenecks, moving state closer to where it is used, and aggressively memoizing heavy components and calculations using `useMemo`, `useCallback`, and `React.memo`.

The 'Header Team' can build, test, and deploy the header component completely independently of the 'Checkout Team', while to the end user, it all looks like one seamless application.
